Mr. Essner:
I am horrified to learn how Premarin is manufactured, and that Wyeth Ayerst allows it to happen. In alliance with Last Chance for Animals, I am urging you to immediately stop the production of Premarin, and end the cruel and inhumane treatment of the mares and foals involved in the production process.
We live in a highly technological age and there are better alternatives for hormone replacement therapy than products made from horses’ urine. It has already been proven Premarin is dangerous to women, and now, people are realizing how cruel the manufacturing process is to horses.
Consider me one of the countless people fighting against Premarin production! I call upon Wyeth Ayerst to take full responsibility to end Premarin production immediately!
