Vigil YulinDespite massive global outcry, the Yulin government failed yet again to protect the thousands of dogs and cats brutally killed for China's annual Yulin Dog Meat Festival, a 10-day massacre that starts on the summer solstice. The animals are kidnapped in faraway regions of China and trucked for hours in tiny metal cages with no food and water -- when they reach Yulin, they are beaten and killed.

LCA was on the ground in Yulin, and documented video of the ruthless torture at slaughterhouses that supply dog and cat meat for the festival, as seen in this undercover video.

We must speak out for these innocent lives. Join us on the last night of the festival -- June 30, 2016 -- to hold vigil and protest the murder of dogs and cats in Yulin. The vigil is supported by a coalition of organizations including LCA, Their Turn, Direct Action Everywhere and others.

LCA will be at the Los Angeles vigil (details below). But this is a worldwide event -- if you live outside the Los Angeles area, click on this link to check the list of vigil locations.
